TNT Convention Services
Booth security is provided exclusively by TNT Convention Services.
Although IPC Show Management provides 24-hour perimeter exhibit hall security from September 21 through September 25, 2009, each exhibitor is responsible for their materials, equipment, display, etc. at all times. Do not leave items of value in your booth unattended without taking security precautions.

Still photography and video recording of any exhibit or function is prohibited within the exhibit hall, meeting rooms and lobbies. Exhibitors may take pictures of only their own booth before and after show hours only.
Any photography during show hours must be ordered through CGPA Photography, the official photographer for the event.

All freight entering the United States must go through U.S. Customs, and be cleared by a U.S. broker/freight forwarder. Show Management has appointed Rogers Worldwide to help exhibitors import equipment and/or display material for the show.

Viper Tradeshow Services
Viper Tradeshow Services offers transportation services (Common Carrier) for the 2009 IPC Midwest event. As with all three official shipping carriers (Whittier, Rogers and Viper), exhibitors are not charged waiting time for shipments booked with official vendors for the event.

Catering
Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Conv. Center
All Catering/Food & Beverage must be provided through the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center. Distribution of food or beverages from sources other than the Renaissance is strictly prohibited.
Exhibitors distributing or serving alcohol at the event are required to purchase a Class D One Day Liquor License from the Village of Schaumburg offices for each day of the event. See complete details in Event Regulations.

Internet
Swank
Telecommunications services are provided exclusively by Swank at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center. Contact Craig Shepard (+1 847-303-4342 tel or cshepard@swankav.com) for your phone and internet needs.
Order Wireless Internet for Sunday, September 20—Thursday, September 24 for only $27.50! Exhibitors requiring secure networks or access to streaming audio or video presentations must order separate network services through Swank.

Utilities
Ramping may be necessary for utility services. Electrical and telecommunications are accessed via floor ports throughout the exhibit hall, while compressed air and plumbing ports are located along the perimeter wall of the exhibit hall and will be dropped from the ceiling. Unless otherwise instructed, Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center and Viper Tradeshow Services personnel will cut booth floor coverings and display walls when required for installation of services.
Utility services will be provided during all published installation, event, and dismantle days and hours. If service is required beyond these times, 24-hour service must be ordered. All utilities and telecommunication lines will be turned off shortly after the show closes at 4:00 pm on Thursday, September 24, 2009. If service is required past this time for any reason, advance arrangements must be made prior to Thursday morning at the Exhibitor Service Center.
Be sure to include placement diagrams for any air, electrical, phone/internet lines, or plumbing services with your order. This will enable personnel to properly place the ordered service in the location it is needed in your booth. Include a detailed floor plan and orientation of your booth including equipment placement.
All utility requests must meet fire department and Village
of Schaumburg approval. Permit fees may apply. |
Plumbing & Compressed Air
Renaissance Schaumbug Hotel & Conv. Center
Only RSCC personnel are allowed to make primary source supply connections and disconnections.
RSCC is not responsible for pressure fluctuation and failure. Pressure may vary slightly for air and water.
The use or display of compressed gases and liquefied flammable gases is prohibited unless a permit is obtained from the Schaumburg Fire Department before the event.
No compressors are allowed other than those supplied by RSCC unless they are a fixed part of your machine.
Distribution of water and air services throughout your booth space whether under the carpet, above the carpet, or overhead are done on a time and material basis. Lift charges will apply for distribution.
To further enhance the quality of the compressed air; exhibitors should have a filter installed at the air connection for their specific equipment within their booth. These filters can be provided by the exhibitor or ordered from and installed by RSCC.

Electrical
Viper Tradeshow Services
An electrical outlet is not included in your booth package. If you need electricity for any reason in your exhibit, please make sure to order the appropriate outlet before you arrive at the show.
Only Viper electricians are allowed to make electrical installation and connections.
All materials, equipment, wiring and connections must meet the Village of Schaumburg Codes and other Federal regulations that have legal jurisdiction.
Exhibits which contain “built-in” electrical service will be inspected for compliance with permit, code and safety requirements.
Unauthorized or non-approved electrical installations will be removed and reinstalled by Viper personnel on a time-and-material basis or the service will be disconnected.
All electrical equipment exposed to water/liquids must have ground-fault circuit interrupters.
All equipment must display complete information on current, voltage, phase, cycle, horsepower, etc. If no information is available, electrical charges shall be computed at 70% of the main breaker or main fuse size.
Viper and the RSCC are not responsible for voltage fluctuations or power failures.
