Dear Exhibitor:
IPC is delighted to welcome you to the 2009 IPC Midwest Conference & Exhibition. This is the only industry-driven Midwest event that covers all aspects of the industry—printed circuit boards, design, electronics manufacturing and test.
As you know, a great deal of detailed planning is required when participating in a trade show. Please make sure to thoroughly read all of the forms and work rules included in the exhibitor manual, as increased knowledge minimizes wasted time and unnecessary expenses. Be sure to review the Deadline Checklist today to ensure you don’t miss those deadlines (they sure can sneak up on you). Check out the money saving tips included in the manual, to keep your costs down.
Some important information to review includes:
Move-In
In order to facilitate a smooth and efficient move-in, booths have been targeted to arrive on different days and at different times, depending on the size and location of each booth. Make sure to share this information with your carrier and any staff involved with the set-up on-site. Target dates and times are indicated on the Target Move-In Floor Plan, located in the Shipping section of the online manual.
Move-Out
Due to village noise restrictions, freight will not be loaded out on Thursday, September 24. Only hand-carried items can be removed from the show floor on Thursday evening. DO NOT schedule your carrier for pick-up on Thursday evening as trucks will not be loaded. Neither IPC nor Viper Tradeshow Services will be responsible for any wait time charges incurred by exhibitors from their carriers if they arrive for load out on Thursday evening. All hanging signs will be removed Thursday evening. In-booth rigging can be scheduled for Thursday. The Marshalling Yard will open at 6:00 am on Friday, September 25. All freight load-out will take place Friday, September 25. Review the Shipping section for additional information on preparing for move-out.
Mandatory Exhibitor Approval Application
The Village of Schaumburg requires all exhibitors to complete an Exhibitor Approval Application. This mandatory form must be returned to +1 847-303-4323 by August 31, 2009.
Be sure to visit the online Exhibitor Resources, where you will find information such as the online Exhibitor Marketing Guide, instructions on ordering VIP passes, updating your directory listing and much more. While you’re there, visit the deadlines section for a complete listing of all exhibitor-related important dates and deadlines.
