Dear Exhibitor:
IPC is delighted to welcome you as an exhibitor at the 2008 IPC Midwest Conference & Exhibition. This is the only industry-driven Midwest event that covers all aspects of the industry—printed circuit boards, design, electronics manufacturing and test.
As you know, a great deal of detailed planning is required when participating in a trade show. Please make sure to thoroughly read all of the forms and work rules included in the exhibitor manual, as increased knowledge minimizes wasted time and unnecessary expenses. Be sure to review all of the upcoming Deadlines today to ensure you don’t miss those deadlines (they sure can sneak up on you).
Move-In:
In order to facilitate a smooth and efficient move-in, booths have been targeted to arrive on different days and at different times, depending on the size and location of each booth. Make sure to share this information with your carrier and any staff involved with the set-up on-site. Target dates and times are indicated on the Target Move-In Floor Plan.
Move-Out (No Thursday Move-Out):
Due to village noise restrictions, freight will not be loaded out on Thursday, September 25, 2008. In-booth work will take place on Thursday, but no freight will be loaded from the dock that evening. Only hand-carried items can be removed from the show floor on Thursday evening. DO NOT schedule your carrier for pick-up on Thursday evening as trucks will not be loaded. Neither IPC nor Viper Tradeshow Services will be responsible for any wait time charges incurred by exhibitors from their carriers if they arrive for load out on Thursday evening. The Marshalling Yard will open at 6:00 am on Friday, September 26, 2008. All freight load-out will take place Friday, September 26, 2008. Review the Shipping & Material section for complete details, including the Target Move-Out Plan.
Be sure to visit the Current Exhibitors portion of the Web site, where you will find additional information you will need, including the online Exhibitor Marketing Guide, instructions on ordering VIP passes, updating your directory listing and much more. While you’re there, visit the Deadlines section of the Web site for important dates and deadlines.
Participation by industry leaders like your company is a critical component to the success of this event. We are dedicated to helping you make the 2008 IPC Midwest Conference & Exhibition a success for your company.
Feeling overwhelmed? If you have any questions, please contact any of the IPC Show Team members.
On behalf of the entire IPC organization, thank you for your support. See you in Schaumburg!
